The next step in ear training:
My old piano and my Handpan (both) are not in tune (not concert pitch reference and note to note tempering is wonky)...my Drummer/Sound Tech 'ear' is attuned to harmonic 'mix' rather then 'tempered' semi-tones (I can hear a frequency and identify it's Hz range and content-- 100 with some 300 Hz ring)...

Now. 'disciplining ' my ear' to zoom in on semi-tones and relate them to a root (relative pitch) note is my goal for next few years for my aging ears.

Therefore.... I'm embarking on a journey of piano tuning and Handpan tuning…to develop relative pitch sonically from a drummer's point of view!
